Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 July 2026
This policy explains how Shopfinity ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit getshopfinity.com or use our services. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hello@getshopfinity.com or by post at Shopfinity, 20 Wenlock Road, London N1 7GU, United Kingdom.
Information we collect
- Contact form details. When you submit our contact form or book a call, we collect your name, email address, the plan you are interested in, and anything you write in your message. Form submissions are processed by our hosting provider, Netlify.
- Email correspondence. If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and our business records.
- Analytics. With your consent (via the cookie banner), we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location (IP addresses are anonymised), device type, and how you found us. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and provide our services (legal basis: steps taken to enter into a contract).
- To improve our website and marketing (legal basis: consent, for analytics).
- To keep business records we are legally required to keep (legal basis: legal obligation).
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our business: Netlify (website hosting and form processing), Google (analytics, with consent, and email), and Porkbun (domain and email routing). Each processes data on our behalf under their own data processing terms. Some providers process data in the United States under appropriate safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case records are kept for the duration of our engagement plus the period required by UK tax and company law (typically six years). Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for 14 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (for analytics, clear your cookies or email us and we will help). To exercise any right, email hello@getshopfinity.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
We use one category of non-essential cookies: Google Analytics measurement cookies, set only if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage. Essential functionality of the site works without any cookies.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change and adjust the date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
